Custom brand design for vibrant entrepreneurs.
There I was, standing on a stage in front of hundreds of people in my 50s style poodle skirt and saddle shoes. It was the Miss Pre-teen New Mexico pageant, and at 10 years old I was one of the contestants.
The only trophy I took home that day was one for participation, but I still remember feeling like I was on top of the world in my very own version of a superhero suit. My mother had painstakingly sewed and glued together my outfit, and I was in love with it.
I believe that every business owner should have their own personal superhero outfit: a beautiful, compelling, one-of-a-kind visual identity for their brand.
And unlike my 50’s getup, it shouldn’t feel like a costume. It should magnify and enhance your unique personality and strengths, empowering you to be completely yourself.
Transformative clarity and one-of-a-kind brand design.
Together, we’ll dig deep to uncover and connect the characteristics and strengths that make you and your business distinctive, and then I’ll craft a completely custom visual identity that reflects your values, your passion, and feels 100% like YOU.
The result? A powerfully focused brand designed to increase your influence and attract your dream clients. Because what those dreamies are really craving isn’t just what you’re selling, it’s you. And when you’re excited about who you are and what you have to offer, they will be, too.
A well designed visual identity should always have a clear brand strategy to back it up. Although your brand should be a genuine reflection of who you are, it should also be strategically designed to appeal to your dream clients. Because when you know who you are, who you want to serve, and how to bridge the gap, it changes everything.
Celebrate Your Unique Influence
I believe in equipping and empowering women to own their unique strengths and personality. Brand design should never be trendy or copy other people’s ideas. I strive to create designs that are unique and timeless.
Community Over Competition
As a small business owner, I believe in supporting other business owners and approaching relationships with a spirit of community and collaboration rather than competition. Proud member of The Rising Tide Society.
As a follower of Jesus, I believe that I am called to a life of love and service. I aim to approach all of my work as just that, an opportunity to love and serve others. I also believe I am called to give back as much as possible. One way I do this is by committing to donate at least 10% of my profits to organizations that nurture and empower women and children. I am currently donating to Bombay Teen Challenge, a non-profit organization that rescues and cares for sex slaves from the brothels of Mumbai with the goal of complete physical, mental, and emotional healing.
I believe in choosing joy in all circumstances and that business should be fun whenever possible. I also believe in defining business success on my own terms and creating a business that supports my life, not a life that supports my business.
I was one of those kids who always knew what I wanted to do when I grew up, and spent hours designing for my dad’s small business (entrepreneaurship runs in my family!). After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, I went on to earn a Master’s in Communication Studies (which is literally the study of how humans communicate with each other).
Thus I was able to combine my two passions: design and people. After working with various nonprofits, I finally decided to take the leap and do what I had wanted all along: launch my own design studio. I’m intimately familiar with the satisfaction and joy as well as the overwhelm and fear that can come with actively pursuing a business doing what you love; which is why helping other women on the same journey is one of my favorite things in the world.
